01What This Archive Is
Outbreak Protocol is a non-commercial fan archive covering the Resident Evil franchise — a free browser survival game, plus source-cited guides to the 2026 movie, Requiem, the RE4 remake, and every mainline release since 1996. It runs as pure static pages: no accounts, no comments, no user-generated content is stored anywhere.
Every guide names its references inline and links to the source itself: sales and release data to Capcom's investor-relations releases, box-office figures to named trade reporting at the article level, and review aggregates to Metacritic. Our sourcing standard and its limits are set out in the editorial policy, and every correction we make is logged in the corrections log.
All Resident Evil names, characters and trademarks belong to Capcom Co., Ltd. Film-related marks belong to their respective owners. This site claims no affiliation and is maintained as a fan reference.
