SECTION 01
01How This Log Works
When a figure on this site changes because it was wrong, incomplete or unsourced, it gets an entry here. Corrections are not applied silently: the old value stays visible in the entry so anyone who quoted the earlier version can see exactly what moved and why.
Entries record five things: date, page, what changed (old → new), reason, and the source now backing the corrected value. The sourcing standard this site works to is set out in the editorial policy.
SECTION 02
02Corrections Applied
| Date | Page | Change | Reason & source |

A single platform's metascore was presented as the game's score. Now stated per platform. Source: Metacritic. |
| 2026-09-25 | requiem.html, games-database.html | Removed Series average is 74 — top 4% of franchise |
No source could be located for either figure, and the claim contradicted this site's own score list. Deleted rather than re-guessed. |
| 2026-09-25 | games-database.html | RE3 remake metascore 86 → 79 |
Value did not correspond to any platform. Corrected per Metacritic's own ranking. Source: Metacritic. |

Same cause as above. Source: Metacritic. |

Both figures were correct but carried different scopes without saying so, which read as a contradiction. Labels added; no numbers changed. Source: trade reporting. |
| 2026-09-25 | movie-2026.html | Spain release 17 September → 18 September |
Correction to the market table; Latin American dates unchanged. Source: trade reporting. |
| 2026-09-25 | movie-2026.html | Removed the Alien: Romulus opening-weekend comparison; de-quoted an unattributed Zach Cregger line | Comparison could not be re-verified against a second source; the quotation had no traceable citation. Removed rather than kept on trust. |
| 2026-09-25 | requiem.html | Deluxe Edition contents rewritten: 3 Leon costumes + emblem charm → 5 costumes (incl. Dimitrescu set), 4 weapon skins, 2 filters, 2 charms |

| 2026-09-25 | games-database.html | RE6 metascore 78 — reviewed, retained |
Checked against the published range (77–79) and found within it. Listed here for completeness. |
| 2026-09-25 | requiem.html | Main story ~13.5 HRS → 12–16 HRS (Capcom's stated range), with the community-tracker cluster demoted to a note |
The precise 13.5-hour figure had no primary source behind it. The rights holder's own stated range is the defensible value. Source: Capcom. |
| 2026-09-25 | requiem.html | FAQ answer Main story roughly 13.5 hours → Capcom states a 12–16 hour main story |
Same figure, same reason. FAQ copy had drifted out of sync with the corrected stat card. |
| 2026-09-25 | requiem.html | Cross-link blurb $108M+ worldwide → $108.3M opening weekend worldwide |
Stale duplicate of a figure already corrected on the film page in this same round; a +-suffixed gross was also exactly the form retired above. |
