FIELD MANUAL — 100% CHECKLIST
REQUIEM COLLECTIBLES — ALL 139 LOCATIONS
The Resident Evil Requiem collectibles are six tracked sets — 75 files, 25 Mr. Raccoon Memoriam statues, 22 antique coins, 9 Plant 43 seedlings, 5 safes and 3 BSAA containers — and the game gives you no chapter select to go back for the ones you missed. That last part is the one that costs people a completion run. This guide organizes all six sets, the area route that sweeps them, the save discipline that protects you, and what changes on Insanity.
One framing note before the numbers: these counts are the work of third-party guide publishers — PowerPyx chief among them — not an official Capcom checklist. We summarize and attribute throughout.
SECTION 01
01The Six Sets at a Glance
| Set | Count | Trophy | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Files | 75 | Case Closed | Every area; many are story-gated |
| Mr. Raccoon Memoriam | 25 | You Little Rascal! | Hidden across all hubs; some need Leon |
| Antique Coins | 22 | — (no trophy) | Spent on permanent upgrades |
| Plant 43 Seedlings | 9 | Not Today, Buds! | Underground, on the way to Plant 43 |
| Safes | 5 | No Safe is Safe | Grace's segments only |
| BSAA Containers | 3 | Crate Expectations | Locked crates, keyed per area |
PowerPyx's guide counts the 139 locations above; its wider 235-item tally also includes key items, weapons and upgrades, which are not collectibles. Don't let the bigger number panic you into hunting inventory filler.
SECTION 02
02The Area Route — Sweep in Order or Lose Items
Requiem's campaign is one continuous path with no way back, so every completion route is written by location, not by collectible type. The sequence you move through:
- Wrenwood — tutorial-level pickups: the city guide, the hotel pamphlet, your first files. Nothing here is hard to find, which is exactly why people stop paying attention and walk past something.
- Rhodes Hill — the Care Center, its basement and courtyard. The densest hub by far: three of the five safes, a fat stack of files, and the Furnace safe's reward is the Rhodes Hill Raccoon Roundup Map itself.
- East Raccoon City
- Raccoon City Center
- Orphanage
- Side Street
- ARK — the endgame hub that closes out the file list and the last statues, plus both remaining safes.
Check every set against the in-game Challenge Menu and the Files menu before you leave an area. One warning about those menus: a missing tracker during a first run is not proof you missed an item — some challenge trackers only appear after you finish the game once.
SECTION 03
03Save Discipline — Can You Go Back for Missed Collectibles?
There is no chapter select in Requiem. A missed spot in your current save is gone unless you kept a manual save from that area. The rule every guide we reference converges on: keep a manual save for each area before you move on.
Two facts soften the blow, and both matter for planning:
- Files and Mr. Raccoon statues carry across playthroughs, so a second run can mop up those two sets even from a messy first save.
- Everything else does not. Coins, seedlings, safes and containers live and die with the save file they were collected in.
And two facts cut the other way: Antique Coins have no trophy attached, and safe hunting is a five-dial problem you can solve in five minutes with our all safe codes table. Not every set deserves equal anxiety — the files and raccoons do.
SECTION 04
04Antique Coins (22) — the One Count the Sources Don't Agree On
Our count: 22, per PowerPyx. Flag for transparency: guides disagree on the Normal-difficulty total — some publish 21, others 23 — and the exact figure is the one place the major sources don't line up. We print PowerPyx's 22 as the site standard because it is the count our other verified data is built on, and we'd rather show you the seam than paper over it.
On Insanity, coin spawns differ from the standard route — do not reuse a Normal coin list there. At least one publisher (ludo.guide) counts a different total on Insanity entirely; treat any Insanity coin count as publisher-specific until you have checked it in your own run.
The coins have no trophy, but they buy permanent upgrades from the Parlor — and the purchase order is not close:
- Hip Pouch — 3 coins. +2 inventory slots, first purchase without debate (Polygon; IGN says buy it immediately).
- Override Manual — 6 coins. Blood-collector capacity +50; the permanent upgrades cost more blood than the base tank holds (Polygon, IGN).
- Stabilizer. Better damage and handling on the Requiem magnum (IGN).
- Steroid — 4 coins. Buy one, then craft the rest from the recipe (Polygon).
IGN's math: 17 of the run's 22 coins cover all four purchases. That margin is why the coin set forgives a missed coin or two — but the safes alone hand you 6 of them, so open those dials. The full Parlor purchase order in our beginner's guide walks through the reasoning behind each pick.
SECTION 05
05Mr. Raccoon Memoriam (25) — You Little Rascal!
Twenty-five statues are hidden across all the hubs, and some of them require Leon — which means a pure Grace-focused route will strand a few. The single biggest assist: the Furnace safe in the Care Center Basement holds the Rhodes Hill Raccoon Roundup Map (code R 60 · L 40 · R 80 on Normal), so crack it before you comb the hub.
Statue progress counts across playthroughs, so a missed raccoon is recoverable on a later run — unlike a missed coin. After a first clear, Mr. Raccoon maps can be bought from the Bonus Menu, which turns the cleanup pass into a checklist instead of a scavenger hunt. If you want every statue on the first pass anyway, the video routes on our Videos page — PowerPyx's collectibles guide and Maka91Productions' area-timestamped run — cover them hub by hub.
SECTION 06
06Files (75) — Case Closed
Seventy-five files, spread through every area, many of them story-gated — you cannot grab the set in one sweep, because some documents only exist during the window their scene is open. This is the set where the per-area manual save earns its keep: a story-gated file behind you is a restart behind you.
Two of them do double duty: the files that reveal the five safe codes stay in place on Insanity (IGN), so the code-hunting loop survives the difficulty jump. Track your count in the Files menu against the publisher lists we credit in Sources, and treat Wrenwood's pamphlet and city guide as the warm-up they are.
SECTION 07
07Safes (5) — No Safe is Safe
Five locked safes, all in Grace's segments only — Leon never stands in front of a dial. Opening all five unlocks No Safe is Safe. A sixth safe, in the Waiting Room, is already open when you arrive and holds 2 antique coins on Standard; it does not count.
We keep the full combinations, dial directions and the one disputed code on the dedicated safe codes page so this guide stays a route, not a duplicate table.
SECTION 08
08Plant 43 Seedlings (9) — Not Today, Buds!
Nine seedlings, all found underground, on the way to Plant 43. The tight geography is the good news: the whole set lives inside one stretch of the route, so it is the easiest of the six to sweep in a single disciplined pass. Grab them as you descend rather than planning a return trip — the route does not come back this way.
SECTION 09
09BSAA Containers (3) — Crate Expectations
Three locked containers, keyed per area, tied to the Crate Expectations trophy. The BSAA container system belongs to the game's action side — it is part of Leon's kit for upgrades and treasures — so expect these to sit along the segments where his toolkit is in your hands. A locked crate with its key in a different area is the classic trap here. If you meet the crate before the key, note it in your per-area save — your way back — because the route does pass through again.
SECTION 10
10Hip Pouches & Inventory Space
One clarification that saves confusion: hip pouches are not a numbered collectible set in the verified six-set checklist. Inventory expansion comes from the Parlor — the 3-coin Hip Pouch for +2 slots, first on the purchase order above. If a guide quotes a "hip pouch location list," that is not one of PowerPyx's tracked sets, and we won't print a count we can't verify — the full run-down now lives on our hip pouch locations page, including the one total the guides genuinely dispute.
SECTION 11
11Collectibles on Insanity — What Changes
Insanity rearranges the collecting picture in three ways:
- Antique Coin spawns differ from the standard route. A Normal coin list is useless there.
- All five safe codes change, and items relocate — our Insanity difficulty guide lines up every change side by side.
- The stakes shift, not the trophy math: coins have no trophy attached, so a missed coin on Insanity costs you upgrades, not completion. Files and raccoons are still the sets that matter.
QUICK ANSWERS
12Collectibles FAQ
How many collectibles are in Resident Evil Requiem?
PowerPyx counts 139 collectible locations across six sets: 75 files, 25 Mr. Raccoon statues, 22 antique coins, 9 Plant 43 seedlings, 5 safes and 3 BSAA containers. Its wider 235-item tally includes key items, weapons and upgrades, which are not collectibles. These are the publisher's counts, not an official Capcom checklist.
Can you miss collectibles in Resident Evil Requiem?
Yes — there is no chapter select. Keep a manual save for each area before moving on. Files and Mr. Raccoon statues count across playthroughs, which allows later cleanup; the other four sets do not carry over.
Do I need all the Antique Coins for 100%?
The coin set has no associated trophy, so a missed coin does not block a completion trophy. It does cost you permanent upgrades — 17 of 22 coins cover the four Parlor purchases, and the safes alone supply 6.
How many antique coins are there, exactly?
PowerPyx, the count this site standardizes on, says 22 on Normal. Some other guides publish 21 or 23; the sources don't fully agree, and we print the disagreement rather than pretend it away. Coin spawns change on Insanity, where publisher counts differ again.
Which collectibles carry across playthroughs?
Files and Mr. Raccoon statues. Everything else — coins, seedlings, safes, BSAA containers — is tied to the save file.
Where are the full location-by-location routes?
With the guide publishers credited in Sources, and in video form on our Videos page — PowerPyx's collectibles guide and Maka91Productions' 100% run are linked there with verified IDs. Our full Requiem guides hub indexes every written guide on this site.
